HOW TO FIND YOUR WINDOWS 8 PRODUCT KEY

Extract Your Lost Windows 8 Key From the Windows Registry

As you may be finding out, perhaps half way through reinstalling Windows 8, you must have your product key to continue the installation. Windows 8, as well as most operating systems and other software, require the entry of unique product keys, or sometimes serial numbers, during installation.

Your Windows 8 product key should be with the email confirmation you received after buying Windows 8 for download, or with your packaging if you purchased it in a retail package. If Windows 8 came preinstalled on your computer, your product key should be on a sticker on your computer or with your documentation.

Fortunately, if you can't find documentation of your Windows 8 product key, you may be able to extract it from the Windows Registry using a program called a product key finder.

Follow the steps below to find your Windows 8 product key using one of these tools:

Important: A product key finder program will only find your valid Windows 8 key if Windows 8 is installed and working, and if you've manually entered the Windows 8 product key in some previous installation. See my Windows Product Keys FAQ and Key Finder Programs FAQ pages for more information.

Difficulty: Easy

Time Required: Finding your Windows 8 product key should take less than 15 minutes
Here's How:
Download Belarc Advisor, a free PC audit program with full Windows 8 support that also functions as a key finder tool. Unfortunately, manually locating the Windows 8 product key in the registry isn't possible so you'll need to use a program like this.

Note: Any product key finder that advertises support for Windows 8 will work for either edition: Windows 8 or Windows 8 Pro.


Install Belarc Advisor, following whatever instructions are given during the installation.

Note: If you choose a different keyfinder, please know that some are supported by optional add-on programs so be sure to uncheck those options during the program's installation if you don't want them. A few of them require no installation at all.


Run Belarc Advisor (the initial analysis may take a little while) and note the Windows 8 product key displayed in the Software Licenses section.

The Windows 8 product key is a series of 25 letters and numbers and should look like this: xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx.


Write down the Windows 8 key exactly as shown for use when reinstalling Windows 8.

Important: Make sure each and every letter and number is written exactly as shown. If even one digit isn't transcribed correctly, the key won't work to reinstall Windows 8.

Tips:
If you need to install Windows 8 but wasn't successful finding your Windows 8 product key with a product key finder program, you have two more choices:

You can request a replacement product key from Microsoft or you can purchase a new copy of Windows 8, which will of course come with a new and valid product key.

Requesting a replacement Windows 8 product key is going to be much more cost effective than buying an entirely new copy of Windows 8, but you may have to do that if the replacement doesn't work out.

HOW TO INSTALL WHATSAPP ON YOUR PC OR LAPTOP USING BLUESTACKS

Hi Friends, As you know Whatsapp is a very popular app or messenger for android phones. But If you don’t have android phone and want to use whatsapp then you can also install whatsapp on pc whether it is windows or it is mac os.

So for you guys, I am writing this article for your easyness.

Now , i will describe step by step instructions to install WhatsApp using Bluestacks......

As soon as you hear “whatsapp for pc”, Then first question comes in your mind. 

whatsapp messenger is only available for mobile devices then “how to install whatsapp messenger on personal computer.” 

There are some software available that provide facility to run mobile software on pc. we can use these software to use whatsapp for pc.

Follow these steps to use whatsapp with windows pc.

Step 1: We will use bluestack to run whatsapp on pc. Download Bluestacks

Step 2: Double click on bluestack exe [setup] to start installation. 

               After bluestack installation completes, a shortcut “Start BlueStacks” will appear 
               on desktop as shown below

Step 3: Clicking on Start BlueStacks icon will open a window as shown in screenshot

               below.  

               

               It may take several minutes to complete [depend on your internet speed].

Step 4: After successful installation a screen will open

Now click on My Apps ->App Search , an app search popup will open, Search “whatsapp” and install it.

Step 5: Now whatsapp has been successfully installed on your pc. Configure with your   

                phone number and use it.

If you are using MAC then please use same steps as above with mac version.

HOW TO INSTALL WhatsApp ON PC OR LAPTOP USING ANDROID EMULATOR

Hi Friends,

There is some steps to installing WhatsApp on your PC or Laptop using Android Emulator

follow these steps as shown in video.

Requirements:

A PC
1.) Android Emulator (come with Android SDK, downloadable at      
       http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html)
2.) WhatsApp for Android apk file (downloadable at http://www.whatsapp.com/android/)          
       Telnet or a software applicable to connect to Telnet protocol.
      
Your SIM card
1.) Download and install Android Emulator
       Go to: http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html

        And download the .exe file for windows……. Install it

       Then open Android SDK manager…..Select repository….. and check “SDK Platform         
       Android 2.3.3, API 10” or (check any SDK Platform Android as you want)

       After check, 

       click on install selected packages and wait until downloading and installing    
       processes are finished

       Now go to Tools and select Manage AVDs to create your Virtual device

       Click new, choose a name for your virtual device (for example MyVDevice) and your  
       target is going to be the version of your Android that you installed in the steps before.
     
       Choose 512Mb for size Then click on create AVD

       Click on your virtual device in the list of available devices and then click start

2.) Install and use WhatsApp on your virtual device

       Open your browser on android
       
       Go to: www.whatsapp.com/android
       
       Then download WhatsApp for android and install it.

       now you need to activate WhatsApp.


NOTE: you can verify your phone number using voice verification instead of text SMS verification to avoid all of the text SMS verification steps.


After entering your phone number you can choose"VOICE VERIFICATION" to verify your phone number 

when you are waiting for the verification code, Click Edit then click OK (without make any change with your number)

you will realize that the SMS verification failed, choose "voice verification" click Call Me
then whatsapp will call you, and waiting for you to enter the code to activate it.

now there is no need to of the following steps

Open WhatsApp, it'll ask you to type in your phone number. 

It'll send you a text SMS to verify that is really your number.

You have to type your real phone number here.

Wait for a while for the SMS message arrives to your own phone.

The message will look like this.
From: 99999 Message: WhatsApp code 984

Now it is a tricky part to put this message into Android Virtual Device to verify your phone number. 

we need to open a session with the android console on port 5554:
to do so go to:

Start >cmd > right click and open as administrator

And type in console:

telnet localhost 5554

You should receive a message like:

Android console: type ‘help’ for a list of commands
Ok

Fake an SMS message into android virtual device by typing this

sms send the number from where you received the sms WhatsApp code the code you received

for the example above sms send 99999 WhatsApp code 984
and press enter, you should receive a message Ok.

Go to your Android phone, you should receive a message from the mobile number you entered and in it WhatsApp code xxxxx

you’ll receive a WELCOME message on WhatsApp


REMEBER that you should add your contacts in your virtual mobile

Two problems my arise :

"failed to create directory" while try to install android platform

To solve such problem, you must make sure you have writing permissions for that folder.

Try starting the SDK Manager as Administrator.right click > run as administrator

"telnet is not recognized as an internal or external command operable program or batch file" when writing telnet localhost 5554 in cmd

To solve such problem, 
go to Control panel > Uninstall a program > Turn Windows Features on or off > check telnet client & telnet server
